Laptop PC options

Solid will supply a new laptop PC with our optimised / lean PC setup.

Solid’s optimised / lean PC setup includes a custom version of Windows designed for maximum performance and reliability:

• Bloatware and unnecessary features are removed to improve performance and resource usage.
• All notifications and unnecessary Windows updates are turned off to prevent disruptions during game time.

This setup ensures a stable and hassle-free experience, eliminating the risk of unexpected updates interfering with your scoring system.

L2 CLIENT SUPPLIED PC OPTION A: ONLINE SET UP:
Solid will remotely access your new PC to load, register, and fully test the current software. This is based on Solid logging into your current PC to retrieve your existing files. If access to your current PC isn’t possible, we will check our backup archive. Note: If the backup files are outdated, an additional fee may apply to update your system to the latest version.

L3 CLIENT SUPPLIED PC OPTION B: IN-PERSON SET UP:
Client is to drop off the PC at Solid HQ in Carrum Downs, VIC, and collect it upon completion. Solid will remove the current windows operating system and load our Solid optimised / lean PC setup. NOTE: If you have any files stored on this PC, please ensure you have backed them up prior to drop-off, as the PC will be completely wiped during the process. Solid’s optimised / lean PC setup includes a custom version of Windows designed for maximum performance and reliability.  Bloatware and unnecessary features are removed to improve performance and resource usage. • Storage: 256GB
• RAM: 4GB
• Operating System: Windows 10 or 11 (Mac devices and notebooks are not compatible)
• Ethernet port
• USB ports
• HDMI input port
